Principal for a Day

Wednesday, 10/16/19 is the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District's "Principal for the Day" event. If you've been a Principal for the Day in the past, we'd love for you experience a different school this time, so please note your preferences in the form linked below!

The day is going to start at 8:00 AM, at the Central Office, for an orientation and a light breakfast. Guest principals will be at their assigned campus from about 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

This 2 1/2 hour tour/visit could include activities like:

• Classroom visits while discussing teaching and learning methods

• Read morning announcements or appear on school’s morning TV news

• Lead the Pledge of Allegiance

• Read to a class

• Meet with the Student Council

• Help supervise the playground/passing period

• Sit in on meetings with parents (with their permission)

• Attend a special activity/visit a special program that makes the campus unique

• Visit the preschool program at the school

After leaving the campus, the guest principal will return to the Central Office for a celebration luncheon and brief report out of experiences, finishing promptly at 1:00 PM.
