In celebration of those in the local area whose acts of heroism helped to save countless lives and who protect the place we're lucky enough to call home, Travis Air Force Base is proud to present this year's FREE Travis Air Show, Thunder Over the Bay!
Last year's wildfire season proved to be the deadliest in California history. Even amid tragedy, though, the resolve of the American spirit shone through. This year's air show is a celebration and memorial of those Hometown Heroes who are true testaments to that same spirit.
Come join us March 30th and 31st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to give these heroes recognition the best way we know how: With a little air power!
Including appearances from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the US Army Golden Knights parachute team, Team Travis aims to honor our Hometown Heroes with displays of the same daring, skill, and courage they blessed their neighbors with during last year's wildfires.
